Mindful Strength: Functional Movement + Yoga for a Strong Core

4-Week Series | Thursdays Starting March 28th | 7 to 8 pm

With Christa Stebbing from Kindred Yoga and Julie Yunaska from Epoch Physical Therapy. 

All ages and fitness levels welcome! No yoga or fitness experience required. 

It's time to spring clean your body and mind. In yoga, working with the core and the breath is essential to creating stability, clearing stagnant energy, and decluttering the mind.

Experience a more mindful, breath-centered approach to fitness, and see how functional strength training can empower your practice. 

Each week, you'll learn how to add power and stability to your body through Julie's breath-centered training program that includes resistance training with weights and bands. Then transfer what you've learned to a short yoga session with hand selected poses designed to support your health and wellbeing through the spring season.

Yoga has no age limit. In fact, older adults have the most to gain by engaging in safe and mindful movement practices, relaxation, and meditation.

  • Decrease pain associated with Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and other conditions
