yoga teacher Boost camp:
A mentoring program for certified teachers

12-Week Program Starts January 16th, 2022

After the last few years, many teachers are feeling alone and disconnected, and are craving the support of a like-minded community where they can learn, grow, and feel connected. For some, the pandemic halted their progress. Others received an RYT 200 certification through other training programs, but still don’t feel confident in their teaching. That’s why we created this program - to help teachers get back on track and do what they love.

Over 12 weeks, we’ll provide the nurturing, support, and guidance you need to unlock your potential and take the seat of a confident, inspiring yoga teacher. Our experienced mentors will help you tap into your strengths and work on the areas that need improving so that you can feel great about your classes.

We believe yoga teachers have an important role in our communities, especially now, as we support people on their healing journeys - physically, mentally, and emotionally. So it’s vital that we have yoga teachers out there equipped with the tools and knowledge to best serve our students. We invite you to come with us on this journey, and re-ignite your passion for teaching what you love.

Who is the Program For?

We welcome certified yoga teachers of all experience levels, who also have an interest to getting back to teaching in a studio environment. Whether you’re just starting out, or have a few years under your belt, you’ll get so much out of this program. Teachers of all paths and styles are welcome to attend - much of the mentorship will be customized to your experience, and your desired future direction.

Program Overview

We aim to customize the program based on feedback from participants. When you register, we’ll talk to you about what you need, and deliver content that best supports the goals of participants.

Overall, here are the topics we’ll cover:

  • Getting clear on your purpose and intention for teaching, your unique teaching style, and how you want to serve your students

  • How to build a following and provide a consistent experience

  • Safe and effective sequencing

  • Principles of safe, clear and effective cueing

  • Skillfully weaving themes into classes without overwhelming your students

  • Refining alignment in your own body, and troubleshooting common misalignments in yoga

  • Planning classes for the style you want to teach (ie, vinyasa, restorative, gentle, hatha)

  • Mastering your observation skills, and teaching to what you see

  • Learning to teach for all body types and movement limitations

  • Learning how to adapt poses and challenge your students appropriately for their abilities

  • Exploring gentle assists - both verbal and hands on

  • Strengthening your authentic voice and teaching from your own experience
