SPECIAL CLASS: Autumn Equinox Restorative

On the Autumn Equinox, there's an equal and balanced amount of light and dark in the day. This makes it a powerful time to rebalance, restore, and refocus your energy.

It's also a time to pause and look forward, to see where to best flow your life force during the last three months of the year.

Join Christa for this special restorative class in which you’ll be invited to relax into supported poses, melt away stress and tension that lead to reactivity, and give yourself the time and space to reflect and move toward greater clarity as you shape the end of your year.

7-Day Soul Practice for Peace - Online

Christa Headshot -thumbnail.png

What if you could feel peaceful and joyful through your holidays in the midst of the current mitigation measures and other stresses you’re facing?

What if you spent just 20 minutes a day for 7 days nourishing your soul, instead of facebooking, over-working (because it's so easy to do from home), or over-busying yourself?

For only 20 minutes a day for 7 days, we invite you make a commitment to taking care of yourself so that you can enjoy your holidays with peace and presence.

A Sadhana is a spiritual practice that can help us overcome the attachments that bind us to suffering, and find freedom and joy right where we are in our current circumstances.

Christa Stebbing will guide you through 7 days of 20-minute practices that weave together inspirational yoga philosophy, relaxation, breathwork, meditation, and contemplation. The perfect day to transition mindfully from your day into evening.

NOTE: The schedule is Monday through FRIDAY at 4:30pm / Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 AM.

If you can't make the live times, but would like to experience this beautiful practice, the recording will be available to all who sign up.

This is a great practice on its own, or as an addition to your regular yoga practice. We'd love to have you join us.

A Biblical Perspective On Yoga

Is it ok to practice yoga if I'm Christian? We hear this question a lot, and the answer is a big YES!! This free class is for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of how yoga philosophy intersects with Christianity.

Join Dave Robinson, Episcopal priest and yoga practitioner, as he discusses meaningful connections between the core Biblical understanding of human beings as "embodied persons" and the way yoga seeks to engage the whole person. Attention to breath and posture, release of stress, mindful awareness, and other practices can be universally applied to any tradition.

About David:

David.robinson.jpg

Following his initial seminary degree in 1978, Dave completed training at the Center for Christian Spirituality in New York City in 1985, being offered many experiences and retreats in approaches to prayer. His thesis considered the Biblical understanding of the human person as a unity of body/mind/spirit. In the early 2000's Dave completed the training program for Spiritual Directors at the Jesuit Spiritual Center in Wernersville, Pa.

This class is FREE, but you may wish to make a free will donation that would go to one of David's favorite charities - Food For the Poor - which focuses especially on helping impoverished persons in Haiti and Central America.
